Easy Christmas Crack Recipe


INGREDIENTS
 40 saltine crackers
 1 cup unsalted butter
 3/4 cup granulated sugar
 10 oz Ghirardelli white chocolate wafers
 sprinkles, optional
INSTRUCTIONS
Line a 15x10x1-inch baking sheet with parchment paper then with the saltine crackers. Set aside. Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, melt butter. Add in sugar and bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly. Once it begins to boil, remove from heat.
Pour over saltine crackers. Place in a 375°F oven for about 13-15 minutes, until crackers are browned and caramelized.
Remove from oven. Melt white chocolate and spread over the top of warm toffee. Add sprinkles immediately (if desired).

STEAK WITH GARLIC PARMESAN CREAM SAUCE


INGREDIENTS:

4 (12-ounce) rib-eye steaks*, 1 1/4-inch-thick, at room temperature
4 tablespoons olive oil
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
FOR THE GARLIC PARMESAN CREAM SAUCE
1/4 cup unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup beef broth, or more, as needed
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 cup heavy cream, or more, as needed
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
1 ounce cream cheese, at room temperature
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
DIRECTIONS:
To make the garlic parmesan cream sauce, melt butter in the skillet over medium heat. Add garlic, and cook, stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Whisk in flour until lightly browned, about 1 minute.
Gradually whisk in beef broth, basil and oregano. Cook, whisking constantly, until incorporated, about 1-2 minutes. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan and cream cheese until slightly thickened, about 1-2 minutes. If the mixture is too thick, add more heavy cream as needed; season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Preheat oven to broil. Place an oven-proof skillet in the oven.
Using paper towels, pat both sides of the steak dry. Drizzle with olive oil; season with salt and pepper, to taste. Remove skillet from the oven and heat over medium-high heat.

WHITE CHOCOLATE TING-A-LINGS


Ingredients
3 1/2 c. chow mein noodles
2 1/2 c. salted cocktail peanuts
32 oz. white chocolate candy coating I used Candiquik
candy sprinkles

Instructions
Mix chow mein noodles and peanuts in a large bowl.
Melt white chocolate over low heat until smooth; pour over chow mein noodles and peanuts and mix well.
Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper; top with candy sprinkles.

PEPPER STEAK STIR FRY


INGREDIENTS:
• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil divided use
• 1 red bell pepper cored, seeded and cut into strips
• 1 green bell pepper cored, seeded and cut into strips
• 1 1/4 pounds flank steak thinly sliced
• 2 teaspoons minced garlic
• 1 teaspoon minced ginger
• salt and pepper to taste
• 1/4 cup soy sauce
• 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
• 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch

Italian Spritz Cookies


Ingredients
1 cup butter (room temperature)
1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons powdered / icing sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour

Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 350° F.
In a large bowl beat until creamy the butter and sugar, then add the egg and vanilla, beating on medium to combine.
Add 1 1/2 cups of flour (a little at a time), the last 1/4 cup mix with a wooden spoon until combined into a firm dough.

CHOCOLATE SPRITZ COOKIE RECIPE


Ingredients
4 oz unsalted butter (1 stick – soften)
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoon cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
a large pinch of salt
Instructions
Cream soften butter and sugar in a mixing bowl with the whisk attachment until light and fluffy. Add egg yolk and vanilla extract and beat until combined.
Add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt to a small bowl and mix to distribute evenly. With the mixer on the lowest speed, slowly add the flour mixture to the stand mixer bowl and mix until thoroughly combined. The dough should be soft and easy to handle.
Fill the cookie press with the cookie dough and line three baking sheets with silicone baking mats or parchment paper. Hold the cookie press perpendicular to the prepared baking sheet and press out the cookies, spacing about 1 - 2 inches apart.
